This quest is designed to encourage players to apply their chess skill and knowledge to increase their ELO rating.

1. Sign up for an account following the steps in the “Opening Move” quest.
2. Play games and increase your ELO rating to 1300.
3. ELO rating must be maintained until the official end date for GAP Season 8: December 25, 2024.

2. Start playing games and try to increase your ELO rating to 1300
3. Take a screenshot of your ELO rating page.
4. Post the screenshot on X with a caption detailing your experience with the quest. Include the following hashtags and mentions: #YGGxAnichess #YGGGAPS8 @YieldGuild @AnichessGame
5. Appeals for proof of completion will be accepted until January 31, 2025

The Opening Move

The quest is designed to onboard players and get them up to speed with Anichess.

1. Go to the [Anichess Website](https://anichess.com/) and sign up for an account using the referral code: **YGG**.
2. Play at least 1 quick match game.

1. Visit the [Anichess Website](https://anichess.com/) to set up your account, and connect your email and web3 wallet. Make sure your connected email address matches the email address linked to your YGG account.
2. When prompted, use the referral code: **YGG** to sign up.
3. Once your account has been set up, you can begin playing quick matches.
4. Play at least 1 quick match game and post a screenshot of your match history log, showing the result.
5. Post the screenshot on X with a caption detailing your experience with the quest. Include the following hashtags and mentions: #YGGxAnichess #YGGGAPS8 @YieldGuild @AnichessGame
6. Appeals for proof of completion will be accepted until January 31, 2025

Ranked Rookie

The quest is designed to guide players towards the other modes and features of Anichess.

1. Set up your account following the steps in the ‘The Opening Move’ quest.
2. Play quick matches until you have accumulated enough wins to unlock the ranked mode.

1. Visit the [Anichess Website](https://anichess.com/) to set up your account, and connect your email and web3 wallet. Make sure your connected email address matches the email address linked to your YGG account.
2. Once your account has been set up, you can begin playing quick matches.
3. Accumulate 5 quick match wins to unlock ranked mode.
4. Post a picture of your home menu, showing that the ranked mode has been unlocked.
5. Post the screenshot on X with a caption detailing your experience with the quest. Include the following hashtags and mentions: #YGGxAnichess #YGGGAPS8 @YieldGuild @AnichessGame
6. Appeals for proof of completion will be accepted until January 31, 2025
