This quest will aim to direct users to sign up and explore HyperPlay as a Web3 native game store. For this season of GAP, we are spotlighting three Mantle games: MetaCene, Embersword, and Party Icons.

1. Sign up for HyperPlay’s newsletter.
2. Important: Create your HyperPlay account using the same email as your YGG account.
3. Install the HyperPlay app and login to your account. If you are not logged in, the quest progress will not be tracked.
4. Connect your web3 wallet.

Criteria

1. Important: Be sure that you’re logged in using the same email as your YGG account and that your web3 wallet is connected.
2. Play and gain experience to achieve the following milestones within the duration of GAP Season 9 from Feb 17, 2025 to Apr 11, 2025:
   1. MetaCene: Reach Level 10. Make sure to reach Level 10 in-game to qualify, as the play streak alone will not make you eligible.
   2. Embersword: complete at least 5 minutes of gameplay
   3. TBA on March 28th
3. Games must be played via the HyperPlay app to qualify for this quest.
4. In the event of any disputes regarding the completion of this quest, please file a ticket in the official YGG Discord. You may present photographic or video evidence of your quest completion.
5. Note that a social post is required for this quest. Include a link to your X post/s in the submission form for this quest.
6. Post screenshots of your profile and quest achievement on each game on X, along with a caption detailing your experience with HyperPlay and the games. You may post a thread, multiple posts, or as a single post on X. Don’t forget to mention: @YieldGuild @HyperPlayGaming and the relevant games @MetaCeneGame, @PlayEmberSword, and @PartyIconsOGX.
7. This achievement will be verified with the HyperPlay team. Any attempts to game the system or submit a false rewards claim screen will result in the rejection of your quest submission and an immediate ban for GAP Season 9 and beyond.

Special Rewards

1. Metacene: YGG Badges (NFTs) and codes that can be redeemed as in-game gift packs for all quest finishers
2. Embersword: First 50 to complete will receive a Thanabus Elder character skin (NFTs)
3. Party Icons: 1,000 Jars (in-game assets) first-come-first-serve and starter packs (in-game assets) for anyone who completes the quest

What if I already have an account with HyperPlay?
If the email associated with your existing HyperPlay account is the same email as your YGG account, you’ll be eligible. If not, please create a new HyperPlay account using the same email as your YGG account.

What is the HyperPlay account?
Creating a HyperPlay account is essential for tracking your quest eligibility and completion statuses across games and platforms. Please ensure you’re logged into HyperPlay at all times to make sure you qualify!

Where can I find quests in the HyperPlay app?
You can find the quests in the Quest tab in the left navigation bar in the HyperPlay desktop app. Look for Quests with “YGG GAP Season 9” in the title!

Can I play Windows games on macOS or Linux?
Yes! Thanks to HyperPlay’s innovative compatibility layer, you can play most Windows games on macOS and Linux. For macOS, we recommend an Apple Silicon CPU (M1 or newer) with at least 16GB of RAM. For Linux, the required specs are the same as for Windows and are tied to the game's specs. Note that some newer 3D games or those with anti-cheat software may not work properly.
