YGG’s Next Chapter

YGG Play sunset operations on July 31, closing out the YGG Play Launchpad, Community Questing, LOL Land, and Waifu Sweeper, while transferring operations of other games to partner developers.

  • YGG Play reached over US$9.6 million in lifetime revenue, including more than US$541,000 earned in Q2 2026 across LOL Land, Waifu Sweeper, and GIGACHADBAT.
  • LOL Land and Waifu Sweeper stopped accepting purchases on July 9 and ceased operating after July 31, with remaining balances snapshotted for conversion to $YGG.
  • GIGACHADBAT and Ragnarok Breaker will keep operating under original developers Delabs Games and Planetarium Labs, each with a new redemption flow for in-game rewards.
  • Community Questing onboarded more than 24,000 users since its August 2025 launch before retiring alongside the YGG Play platform on July 31.
  • Co-founder Gabby Dizon discussed YGG's next chapter with Jon Jordan of Blockchain Gaming World, outlining how the community is shifting toward AI earning opportunities.

AI Alerts Opens New Doors

YGG's new focus centers on the AI data economy, building on the foundation laid by Future of Work and its AI training initiatives.

  • YGG Alerts has been rebranded to AI Alerts to help Filipinos find earning opportunities in AI, drawing 27,000 job applications in its first five days.
  • The global AI training dataset market is valued at US$3.9 billion, according to Grand View Research, and YGG is building a B2B pipeline of gaming datasets to serve it.
  • AI Alerts found that 72% of Philippine companies are already using AI, while only 17% report finding enough qualified workers to meet the demand.
  • The platform includes regular explainers on how AI is reshaping specific industries and roles, as well as a live jobs board spanning engineering, operations, and data roles.

vibecode.game: A New Home for Vibe-Coded Games

In June 2026, YGG launched vibecode.game as the editorial destination for discovering, ranking, and understanding vibe-coded games.

  • vibecode.game serves as a permissionless launchpad where creators publish freely and the community decides what rises to the top.
  • The site debuted alongside the first VibeBlitz game jam in partnership with Minds by Animoca Brands, with winners to be announced on August 10.
  • Over 250 creators registered for the game jam, with 72 completed games submitted by the July 27 deadline now live on vibecode.game for community voting.
  • Top projects will gain access to the Minds Investment Programme, which backs early-stage teams and connects them across Animoca Brands’ 600-plus portfolio companies.

Financial Update

The YGG treasury remains well-positioned to support YGG's ongoing operations.

  • Yield Guild's treasury stood at US$16.1 million as of June 30, 2026, with over US$4.7 million held in stablecoins, T-bills, and large-cap tokens.
  • The decision to sunset YGG Play significantly lowered the monthly burn rate, giving YGG sufficient runway to operate well into 2028.
